EXCLUSIVE LDG COMPETITION: We have teamed up with Barbican to offer our readers the chance to win a pair of tickets to their ‘Design by Decade‘ talks, running in conjunction with the Ron Arad: Restless exhibition. Answer a simple question to win!

The ‘Design by Decade’ talks take place across four evenings – each dedicated to one of the decades Ron Arad has lived and worked in London. A panel discussion will celebrate the evolution of the architecture, art and design communities in London from the 1970s to the present day.

1970s: Recollection and Rebellion

THURSDAY 18th FEBRUARY 2010, 7pm

In a decade of economic and social unrest, with creative rebellion in the air, the Architectural Association (AA) School of Architecture played a significant role in producing an energetic generation of architects, designers and thinkers.  Former students and teachers Ron Arad, Bernard Tschumi, Sir Peter Cook, and Charles Jencks discuss their time at the AA with Bret Steele, Director since 2005.
