Gallery FUMI in London’s Shoreditch play host to a collection of work by Dutch duo Jos Kranen and Johannes Gille who are, you guessed it, further offspring of the ever-eminent Design Academy Eindhoven.

The designers are interesting in uniting the disparate relationship between nature and industry, which is apparent in this collection. Their work mimics the seemingly random fragility of nature and mixes it with a simplified angular geometry. Structurally, they have inflicted formality and order to the freedom of natural growth and produced designs in chunky nickel-plated steel combined with natural materials like marble and leather.
Kranen/Gille is a design studio based in the south of The Netherlands.
